Season One, Episode 1: Checkpoint Char-Lay

Wherein our heroes, smugglers working for the rebellion against the Ashen Kingdoms and hiding behind the front of the East Bay Company, approach the remote border village of Char-Lay.  Their mission, to smuggle the spy Alonzo back across the Ashen Border through the lax checkpoint manned by the greedy and easily bribed Captain Han.  Complications, however, loom on the horizon, for as the heroes approach Char-Lay they can see a towering plume of smoke rising above the village.  What has happened and how will our heroes handle this unforeseen disaster.
